Concrete fails for a reason. Reinforcement corrodes, carbonation reaches the steel, chlorides penetrate the cover, or the structure was built with a defect that has finally surfaced. The visible damage is a symptom. Spalling, cracking, delamination and staining are what the client sees; the cause sits beneath.
CRS delivers concrete repair across the full range of causes. Reactive works to make a spalling façade or a defective balcony safe. Planned repairs written against a survey and specification. Multi-phase programmes rolling out across housing estates, car parks and infrastructure assets. Small-scale patch repairs through to full-scale structural interventions.
We repair using approved systems from Sika, Weber and Mapei, matched to the defect, the exposure environment and the client’s required service life. Mortars are hand-placed or spray-applied depending on scale and access. Where reinforcement is corroded, the steel is cleaned or replaced before the concrete is reinstated. Where cover is inadequate, the repair is designed to extend it. Where the wider structure is at risk of continuing corrosion, protection systems are specified alongside the repair.
Every CRS concrete repair scheme is diagnosed before it is specified. We do not patch and walk away. The survey identifies what is failing and why, the specification addresses the cause, and the repair is delivered to last. Where clients want continuity, the same team returns for future inspections and maintenance cycles.
We work directly for asset owners, main contractors, consulting engineers and their representatives, across the UK.
